Between 10 and 17 June, the number of new addresses in the Litecoin network increased by 54.6%, surpassing the 300,000 mark.

In parallel, the number of active wallets increased by 28% to the 400,000 mark. Which means more people have came up to using LTC wallets for payments.
The surge in activity on the network is likely related to the upcoming halving, which is scheduled for 4 August 2023. The current reward per block in Litecoin is 12.5 LTC. After that date, the amount will halve to 6.25 LTC.
