What is hashing?

Hashing is an algorithm for encrypting information in which the path from the password (or other essential data) to the hash code is unambiguous. The reverse process from the hash to the password is almost impossible, because it requires enormous computing power. In other words, we store only hash codes, not your passwords, and these hashes are too difficult to hack. Even PassimPay employees can't know your password.
