"I am very proud of PassimPay": an interview with the company's COO
13/02/2025

Very soon, our Operating Officer, Olga Egorova, will celebrate her second anniversary at PassimPay. To mark this important ate, the PassimPay team had a conversation with Olga to reflect on her journey, discuss key achievements, and talk about the company’s future plans.
Olga, two years at PassimPay is significant. How did your journey with the company begin?
— At the very start, when I joined the team, I felt a sense of uncertainty—I was stepping into the unknown. Before PassimPay, I had no experience working with blockchain projects. My career had been built in outsourcing companies, where I often heard reluctance towards fintech projects in private conversations. But once I joined PassimPay, all my fears quickly faded away.
Looking back, I see how much we have accomplished in just two years. We have strengthened our brand, expanded our team fivefold, and gained recognition at major industry events. More importantly, businesses seek us out, and—most crucially—they trust us. Today, I am very proud to be part of PassimPay.
How did the idea of PassimPay come? What problem were you aiming to solve?
— It was recognized that both businesses and individuals needed simple, accessible ways to conduct international transactions. That’s how the idea of PassimPay was born—a service designed to simplify cross-border payments, making them faster and more secure.
We developed a platform that allows businesses to seamlessly accept payments from clients and process mass payouts. As a result, both businesses and individuals gained flexible, secure solutions for managing transactions. Our API also enables the automation of an unlimited number of payments. Additionally, our 24/7 professional support team ensures that clients receive assistance—even on weekends.
Developing a product is one thing, but successfully bringing it to market is another. What was the most pivotal moment in PassimPay’s journey?
— Without a doubt, launching the very first version of our product and entering the market was a key milestone. At the same time, we began participating in major industry conferences such as SiGMA, iFX EXPO, SBC, and many others.
These events allowed us to gain deeper insights into our audience’s needs. We discovered that our clients highly value simplicity, transparency, and top-tier security in financial operations. This realization became a turning point, opening new opportunities for scaling and expanding our global partner network.
What are your memories of the very first event?
— Our first event was held in Georgia, and it really has impressed us a lot. Not only because it's an important event, but because it's the first time we've all come together. Considering that our team had been working remotely for a long time and rarely turned on the cameras, it was especially interesting to meet with colleagues in person. You draw yourself a portrait of a person, and it was amusing to find out how much it coincides with reality.
We lived in the same hotel, and at breakfast for the first time we ran into our director — he didn't recognize me! The patches have done their job.
What do you consider PassimPay’s most significant achievements over the past two years?
— First and foremost, we are proud to have built a platform that addresses real user needs. Despite global economic challenges, we continue to grow and strengthen our market position.
Another key achievement is establishing long-term partnerships with major financial industry players. We don’t just provide a convenient payment service—we offer reliability, compliance with the highest security standards, and a professional approach that our clients can trust.
What upcoming initiatives and events are planned?
— We are actively preparing for our participation in SiGMA Dubai. The event is just around the corner, and we are looking forward to showcasing our latest developments and engaging with partners. Large-scale events like this are always a great opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss industry trends.
What are PassimPay’s main priorities for the next 6–12 months?
— In the coming months, our focus will be on further developing on-ramp/off-ramp solutions, expanding payment methods, and enhancing service quality. We also plan to integrate with new partners and platforms to build a broader ecosystem, offering our users a more comprehensive range of products.
Security will remain a top priority—we are continuously improving payment protection and ensuring compliance with international standards to provide our clients with maximum confidence and convenience.
Can we expect new products or services from PassimPay in the near future?
— Absolutely! We have ambitious plans ahead. We are working on launching new products and services tailored to different customer segments. This includes enhanced payment solutions for e-commerce, new tools for automating transactions, and integrations with analytical services.
Additionally, our roadmap includes several new features designed to make payment processing even more seamless. We will be sharing details on these updates soon—stay tuned!
