Emirates to Accept Crypto Payments Through Deal with Crypto.com
11/07/2025

Emirates has signed a preliminary deal with Crypto.com that will let customers pay for flights using cryptocurrency, the airline’s parent company announced on Wednesday.
The partnership is expected to start in 2026 and is aimed at attracting more tech-savvy travelers who prefer using digital currencies, said Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.
The United Arab Emirates has become a major hub for crypto companies in recent years. People in the UAE can already use crypto to pay for things like real estate, school fees, and transportation.
Dubai, in particular, has taken big steps to support the crypto industry. Since creating its crypto regulator VARA in 2022, more than 650 crypto companies have set up shop in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC).
Other airlines in the region are also starting to accept crypto. In May, Air Arabia said it would accept AE Coin, a stablecoin backed by the UAE dirham, for booking flights.
More and more big companies are beginning to accept crypto, so don’t miss a smart move to start exploring digital payment options. Step into the bright future of digital payments with PassimPay.
